WEEKLY EVENTS:

The weekly Career College Bible Study meets every Monday at the home of Boone & Channing Massey from 6:30-8pm. Ages are from 17yrs old and up.  

BTCC Women’s Support Group meets every Monday at 6:30 in their study of 2nd Timothy. All ladies are invited to attend.

The BTCC Arena Team presents the Ladies Only Beginners Intro to Cow Working Clinic held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 7-9pm, weather permitting. Cost is $20 per horse. 

BTCC Arena Team hosts  Barrels Practice  every Tuesday at 7pm. Cost is $10 per rider, weather permitting.

Youth/Children’s Church meets every Wednesday from 6:30-8pm. Ages are from 3 years old thru 12th grade. Meals are included. 

The weekly Round Pen bible study meets every Wednesday from 7-8pm. We meet at 6:30 for a meal so come early.  Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Invite a friend and bring your bible, a favorite dish to share and a drink and plan on joining us. The study is held in the Sanctuary. Mixed adults. 

BTCC Women of Faith bible study meet every Thursday from 6:30-8pm. 

Peaster Rodeo Team practices every Thursday in the Arena from 6:30-9pm, weather permitting.

The weekly Sorting Practice is held every Friday starting at 6:30pm. The cost is $25. We will need 2017 Release Forms signed if not already done and all horses must present with a negative Coggins.

The 38th Crazy Water Festival will be in Mineral Wells on Saturday, October 14, from 8am-4pm. OUR MISSIONS TEAM DOES NOT HAVE A BOOTH AT THIS FESTIVAL! 

The October Ladies Night Out will be here at the church on Saturday, October 14, from 2-4pm. The group will be having Game Night. They ask that each person bring their own drink (non-alcoholic of course) and a snack to share with the group if possible. All ladies are invited to attend and to bring a friend. 

There will be a Mission Team Meeting at 9:30am on Sunday, October 15. All team members need to be present if possible. Agenda items include Center of Hope and Cookbooks. 

There will be a Hospitality Team Meeting at 9:45am on Sunday, October 15. All team members need to be present if possible. Agenda items include budget prep , 5th Sunday meal and BTCC Thanksgiving meal. 

The Arena Team will hold its October Arena Team Meeting directly following services on Sunday, October 15. All team members need to be present if possible. Spoke team leaders should have their proposed 2018 budgets ready for review. 

The Missions Team will be serving at the Center of Hope on Monday, October 16, from 9am-2pm. If you would like to volunteer to help out with either cooking or serving please contact Missions Team Leader GayeLynne Jennings at 903-539-0547 or Center of Hope Leader Dianna Browning at 817-901-5447.

BTCC Arena Team presents Peaster Rodeo Practice Thursday, October 19, from 6:30-9pm. This is a weekly practice every Thursday. 

Tracy ‘Red’ Morris and Tina Clifton would like to invite everyone at Brazos Trails Cowboy Church to join them in the Celebration of Marriage on Friday, October 20, at 6pm. The wedding will be here in the Sanctuary at the church and will be officiated by Dave Wills. There will be a reception in the Youth Bldg immediately following the vow exchange. Please plan on attending this union of two of our members. Dress casual.

The church will be in use on Saturday, October 21, in the Exchange of Vows in Wedding Ceremony of Amy Lambert and Mike Halbert. The Sanctuary and the Youth Bldg will be unavailable from noon through 9pm. 

Sunday, October 22 is Think Pink Day here at BTCC. This is Breast Cancer Awareness Day and we ask that everyone wear Pink in rememberance and to honor of those who are suffering, have suffered and have lost their battle with Breast Cancer. 

There will be a BTCC Leadership Meeting directly following services on Sunday, October 22. This meeting is for all Elders, Lay Pastors and Team Leaders only. If you belong in any of these categories, please plan on attending. If you cannot attend, please assign someone from your team to represent. 

BTCC Youth Team will complete decorating Youth Bldg for the Fall Festival following services on Sunday, October 22. If you would like to help contact Channing Massey.

The Annual Youth Fall Festival will be here at the church on Wednesday, October 25 from 6-8:30pm. Everyone is invited. We will be sponsoring our Trunk or Treat in the parking lot, with games and events happening inside the building. We will be serving hot dogs, chips, sodas and water. Costumes are encouraged, but church appropriate only (no blood, guts or gore, don’t want to scare the young un’s). So invite your neighbor and plan on attending. If you are wanting to donate candy or baked goods or would like to volunteer your time, please contact Channing or Boone Massey.

The BTCC Hospitality Team announces that the theme for the October 29th 5th Sunday Meal will be Tailgating. So please bring your favorite Tailgating Dish (or can be side dish or dessert) and bring enough to share. Everyone is invited to stay and enjoy great fun, food and fellowship. 

The BTCC Mission Team will be hosting a Blood Drive on Sunday, October 29, directly following services. There is a signup sheet on the Info Table in the Sanctuary.

ALL TEAMS! Start planning your 2018 Budgets NOW! Prelim budgets will be due in  to the Finance/Audit Team by Sunday, November 5th. So start planning your team meetings now to reflect upcoming purchases for 2018. Budgets need to be submitted in annual amounts and 100% itemized.

The Youth/Children’s Team is now taking donations for Candy/Treats/Prizes that will be used at our Fall Festival on October 25. For more info on items needed and to volunteer your time, please see Channing or Boone Massey and give us a helping hand! It would be greatly appreciated.

The theme for the next 5th Sunday Meal (October 29) will be a Tailgate Menu. Yes, I had to Google it to see what was on one of those menus, which consists of sliders, dips, finger foods, and lot’s of chili (but we cannot forget desserts!). So have fun with the choices and bring enough to share. Everyone is invited and encouraged to stay after services to share great food and fellowship. (DISPOSABLE CONTAINERS ARE PREFERRED!)
